Storm Front

You can see it for miles, grey clouds that look like a wall closing in on you slowly.  It hovers over the ground, ominous and smells like rain.  Sturdy at the base and whispy at the top, like the stray threads of a q-tip.  You watch it pushing forward, from far away, like a marching band.  It surrounds the valley, hovering over the buttes.  You can see the lightening strike inside the storm as you watch safely from far away. You watch the water pour and the colors of grey shift from dark to light inside the storm front.
