Clouds at Sunset

The golden hour.  Puffy and light, like cotton candy, or whispy and thin, like long grass, they hang above the horizon.  The curve of the earth splits the particles in the sun's light, releasing pink and orange hues to dance in the sky on their own.  They move about fluid, like water, lapping around the shore, until the earth pulls them back into the sun, their showcase over for another day. The last light of the sun slips away behind the earth leaving dusk to dance.
