Pink Peony

A round ball of pink petals stands high on top of a thick green stem, bending slightly under the pressure of the weight of hundreds of petals, crowded and laying on top of each other, fighting for air and a look at the sun.  Petals pressing upon petals, opening a little more every day, releasing sweet perfume to attract pollinators to drink up its nectar and move to the next flower. Subtle pink blush, like the color of a pink pearl.
