Torrential Rain

It starts as a drop on your forehead. You feel another on your hand.  You can't see the rain yet, but you can feel it as it spits on you from the cloud above.  There's a loud crack of thunder and the clouds opened up. You hear it first, as the sound of rain pounds on buildings and trees, and the pavement underneath your feet.  You are caught in the torrential flow.  You can feel yourself getting wetter and wetter until you are soaked and water drips from your eyelashes.  Drenched, you feel refreshed and clean.
