Pine Forest

Malachite of any kind is reminiscent of forests thick with pine trees and layers of native grasses. 

Thick with trees, the sun struggles to peek through and touch the grass.  Waxy needles and pine cones scattered on the ground create a crunchy carpet on the forest floor. Half dried sap with a waxy texture cascades from tree trunks, mixing with loose bark and bugs.

Unkempt and uncared for, pieces of bark hang off trees and dark moss stretches from tree to branch, draped like garland on a Christmas tree. Trunks stand tall, thin, and twisted, fighting each other for the sun.
