Lunar Phase

As the full moon rises above the earth, darkness gradually turns to soft blue light bathing the valley, almost as bright as day.  It gradually turns back into darkness as the moon changes from full to crescent, and a sliver of light shines high in the sky.  Soon the moon will be full again, bathing the earth in soft blue light again.
